After a few months in the Center for Study and Care for Marine Turtles in the Aquarium La Rochelle, "Béline", "Bulle," "Bouton d'Or" and "Sable" have found the open sea in July followed by "Socoa", "Pitchoune", "Antioche" and "Bambi" Thursday, September 24, 2009 from the beach La Conche des Baleines (Ile de Ré).

In 2008, the aquarium was funding only the equipment of a young turtle with a satellite transmitter. The turtles "Antioch" and had conveyed his views during 111 days.
Building on the success of this first experience, Cestmir wanted to develop the science program in 2009 and has received support from the Agency for Marine Protected Areas, Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales and the Association of l’ECOLE de la Mer.
