Timetable and Access
From April 1, 2024 to July 7, 2024, the Aquarium is open from 9am to 8pm.
The last admissions are 1h30 before closing time.

Pratical Information
For reasons of safety and visitor comfort, the Aquarium reserves the right not to authorize large strollers in the exhibition during school vacations.
The Aquarium has several cane strollers available free of charge to our visitors.
Small bags and carry-on suitcases are accepted at the Aquarium La Rochelle reception desk.
However, large suitcases or travel bags over 56*45*25 cm are no longer accepted.

- Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm: at the Ateliers de La Fabrique at 20 rue Sénac de Meilhan
- Outside the above times (bank holidays, weekends, before 9am and after 6pm): at Hôtel La Fabrique 7 rue de La Fabrique
Parking
During the school holidays, parking can sometimes be difficult around the Aquarium La Rochelle.
We recommend that visitors arrive 30 minutes before the time shown on their admission tickets. Two pay and display car parks in front of the Aquarium “Encan” and “Vieux Port Sud”. During the holidays, use the park & ride facilities. Campervans can park in the Port-Neuf area.

Getting to the Aquarium La Rochelle
BY CAR
2h from Bordeaux
Take the A10 towards Paris then near Saintes take the A837 motorway towards La Rochelle.
1h30 from Nantes
Take the A83 towards Bordeaux then exit 7 towards Ste Hermine La Rochelle. Follow direction La Rochelle on the D137 then the N137.
1h30 from Poitiers and 5h from Paris
Take the A10 towards Bordeaux Niort La Rochelle, exit 33 towards Niort La Rochelle, then the N248 to La Rochelle.
BY TRAIN
La Rochelle SNCF railway station, 5 minutes walk from the Aquarium.

With Intercités and TER :
From Bordeaux, several round trips per day. The journey time for direct trains is about 2h05.
