You can embark 5 minutes on foot from the Aquarium, opposite the Crépeau media library.
The Towers of La Rochelle are a bit like the Aquarium, everyone has heard of them but who really knows them? Until 12 June 2022, let yourself be seduced by the exhibition Le Chant des Ondes, des sirènes à Mélusine in the towers of La Rochelle. The exhibition invites young and old alike to dive into the watery waves to meet legendary creatures: from mermaids to the famous fairy Mélusine, visitors are invited to discover emblematic female figures in multiple forms, who have travelled through time and popular tales.
It’s not just because we share the same building that the Brasserie Là-Haut features in our top 3, the view is unique. At lunchtime, while contemplating the Towers of La Rochelle on one side and the Tropical Forest on the other, let yourself be charmed by a spontaneous, generous and accessible cuisine.
The pun was easy, but our choice is the Pompon located on the port of La Rochelle. A traditional cuisine which also plays on seasonal products. On the terrace, in the bistro area or upstairs in the Art Deco decor, you can enjoy the evening at the Pompon!
