During the autumn school holidays, from October 21st to November 5th, 2023, the Aquarium is open from 09 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Below you will find our tips for making the most of your experience:
2. Choose the less busy days and time slots
During the autumn school holidays, from October 21st to November 5th, 2023, the Aquarium is open from 09 a.m. to 8 p.m. The last entries are at 6.30pm.
We advise you to arrive in the morning at 9am or to come at the end of the day, from 5pm. We also recommend that you come on sunny days to enjoy the best possible conditions for your visit.
3. Plan your visit
- A cloakroom service is available. Buggies are accepted with the exception of scooters, bike trailers and other draisies.
- The Brasserie Là-Haut, located on the second floor of the Aquarium, is open for lunch service.
Reservations are strongly recommended by telephone on +33 (0)5 46 50 17 17.
- The Aquarium is located on the Vieux Port of La Rochelle and the car parks are run by the municipality.

Important information:
During school holidays, parking around the Aquarium may be complicated.
We kindly advise to arrive 30 minutes before the time displayed on your entrance tickets.
The car parks near the structure are the “Encan” and “Vieux Port” ones, which are municipal car parks. Motorhomes can be parked in the Port-Neuf area.
